Known Issues and Workflow
I noticed a change in behaviour when accessing reading plans from the new Home Page and got a reply that this was a known issue.
Next change I noticed was that accessing the Library from the tool bar no longer switched to an open Library Window. I like to keep a Library Window open so the old behaviour has become part of my normal workflow.I know that I can <Alt> <Tab> on Windows to get to my Open Library Window so that should work for me at least for now.
My question is:
Other than the items that have been moved on some of the panels to give the UI a "new feel", and that are reasonably easy to spot, are there any other changes that have been made to the way things work in the UI that have been logged somewhere as known issues?
If there are, can we please have them published.

Most differences are related to the Home Page and the Notes Tool.
Most other functionality is just changes in location but readily noticeable like you said.

David, as Graham stated it would be nice as an end user to have something like a **FAQ READ FIRST** pinned to the top of the Logos8 forum that addresses changes to the UI and any known issues. There are too many small UI changes that are not obvious and can leave us users frustrated without some up front direction from FL.
Having to spend time watching the quick start videos should not be a requisite to learning the changes. Many of these changes are very small like how to get to my logos.com account page. I would go as far as adding a link to the FAQ to the page: https://www.logos.com/8
This would be a proactive way of educating users of the product updates and keeping potential frustration down. We are not just interested in the new features but also how to continue to use the ones we have been using day to day in L7.

Something like this updated for L8 along with a FAQ for changes from L7 would be very helpful.

Thankful for Faithlife creating many Training articles using Logos 8 screen snippets.

However, I don't see a FAQ or document that details the functional changes between L7 and L8? Do you know if there is one?
Logos wiki includes link to L8 Announcement that includes Logos 8 Features link, which includes description of many new L8 features.

Thanks Keep Smiling but I've already read that and it's not what I'm talking about. I'm looking for a document that describes the functional changes between L7 and L8. Not a list of new features.
The feature list does not tell me that to get to my logos account page from L8 has moved from the top right of the Home Page in L7 to the About Logos Bible Software dialog in L8. That's what I mean by functional changes. Have you seen a FAQ with that information?

William, unfortunately, I'm not aware that a comprehensive list exists. Towards the end of the beta, MJ was collecting a list related to the Homepage. A couple challenges with documentation (I totally agree with your desire!) are 1) when something is rebuilt from the ground up (e.g. homepage) it's harder to keep track of "changes" and 2) some of the changed behavior (bugs and other issues) were trying to be fixed prior to release in which case no documentation would be needed. If at the last minute it was determined that a fix couldn't be delivered, it would be difficult to get the documentation added.
I do know that for weeks the team was feverishly busy. I actually started wondering whether Phil was in Bellingham because of the hours at which he'd respond to feedback! 😇It would be interesting (and likely create a bit of compassion) to know the total number of hours of sleep that he got in the month of Oct.
That said, I do agree that it would have been nice to have a single comprehensive list somewhere.

I had been thinking that this was the best place to start with all the changes to Logos 8, together with the VTOC. I should be able to indicate changes from Logos 7 in-place e.g. side-by-side L7/L8 UI icons, new icon, updated icon, removed icon. More change FAQ's are coming soon from Faithlife.

An updated Logos Help file will help, also. I've become more dependent on the Help file over recent years, as it has evolved into a very useful resource. (It was, for me at least, much less useful in L3.)

Yes, I see now that they slipped it over the transom on Friday. Thanks.

Thank you for that information Reuben. I agree with their being challenges but in the big picture these types of documents are invaluable and are just as much a part of the release cycle as the software bits. That being said there is never a perfect product with perfect documentation and perfectly happy users. [;)]
