Library Filter "Devices"

Hi,

Running latest version of Logos on latest version of Windows 10.

The "Devices" filter in the library supposedly shows which items are on my iPad and Android phone. Unfortunately they are completely incorrect - nothing like what is actually on the devices.

Is there a way to force the programme to update this somehow.

Tony.

I've just checked on my iPad (which is 1 resource off) and my iPhone (which is 8 off). On my Android phone it is five off. Seems mainly to be around devotionals and media collections.

I haven't completely worked out whether there is any pattern yet.

What sort of discrepancies are you seeing?

    Hi Graham,

I am seeing really large differences, not just a few but hundreds. I must admit that the "device" management never worked for me anyway. I tried several times adding and removing from my devices by checking and unchecking them on my computer, but it never made any difference.

It doesn't really bother me much except that I am beginning to lose confidence in the filters search, especially as I am now having big problems with the tag filter showing different tags each time I collapse and expand it. Hey-ho, we shall see how it goes. Cannot expect a big rework of the software without issues and as along as they get sorted in good time I am sure  all will be well.

The device count is wrong because:

    1. a resource is counted for each mobile app on the device i.e. ESV in two apps on same device = 2 resources
    2. some resources don't register as being on the device

So there could be significant differences between the Devices filter and actual.
