Logos 8 will not open behind proxy
Hi All,
Prior to upgrading to logos 8 on my macBook Pro I was able to do updates, sync etc when behind my office firewall via proxy settings.
Now unless I turn off internet connection through preferences I cannot even load Logos 8.
The laptop is High Sierra.
Any ideas?

You have posted in the Web App forum. Are you referring to the the web app? If not then this may be a way you can use Logos until a solution is found.
If you are referring to the Desktop application then I can get this thread moved to a more appropriate forum for you.
In the meantime you might like to upgrade to MacOS 10.14.1 and see if the latest version helps.
After that if there is still a problem then you will need to submit logs of the process failing. See my signature for instructions.

Sorry I am referring to macBook/iMac app. Upgrades to a business asset are restricted so I cannot upgrade the operating system.

One option is changing Logos 8 Program Settings for Use Internet to No (for offline use)

I am having a similar problem. I cannot get my desktop app to open ever since I installed a VPN on my Mac. I can't even connect to this forum without first shutting down my VPN. Is there a way for me to manually add the proxy setting to Logos Desktop App so that it will work with my VPN?

Sheni welcome to the forums I hope we can be of help.
Your problem doesn’t seem related to that of the original poster and it would be confusing to discuss it in the same thread.
Please start a new threa. Give it a meaningful title and then state your problem.
You will no doubt be asked to make sure your computer is running macOS 10.14.1 and that you have the latest version of logos installe.
Posting logs and attaching them to your first post might also save time. See instructions in my signature line.
In you case details of the VPN will also be needed.
