Bug, Crash, Hang, Freeze: Logos no longer working after update to Logos 8

After my recent update to Logos 8 on my Mac (latest OS), I can no longer open the LOGOS-app. The App starts, I can see the indexing-screen, the program opens for 2-3 seconds and then closes itself without any message. Sometimes this is followed by MacOS creating an error report about the program unexpectedly shutting down.

I tried solution 1 (deleting and reinstalling LOGOS) and solution 2 (checking the fonts) from this page: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015776171-Report-a-Problem-in-Logos-Mac

→ nothing helped though....

I'd be thankful for help in order to be able to use LOGOS again and prepare my sermon for Sunday. :-)
