New downloaded books
Hey folks! Enjoying the new Logos 8 capabilities but wondering at this: in 7, when new books were downloaded, we'd see an indication of it at the top right hand of the software and could click on it and see what had been downloaded before clearing it.
I have downloaded the free November books in 8 and it did download them and re-index the software, but it doesn't show that list any more so it's really easy for me to forget/not realise anything has been downloaded.
Is that a bug? If not, it's definitely a feature I'd like you to re-include in 8? This would also include the link to a page showing what the program updates/bug fixes were when that is what is was downloaded, as in this morning.
Thanks! Keep up the good work!

This was removed in Logos 8 and this information is now available in the Library window using the "Added" or "Last Updated" facet

Okay thanks Graham. I don't necessarily agree with how they've done it but hey, at least I can go look now. Does that include software updates? If not, where can one go find out what has been done?

Clicking the three dots at the top right and selecting "About Logos Bible Software" will show you what version you are running
There isn't anywhere that states what has been changed. The nearest we had to that in Logos 7 was visibility of the release notes from the homepage. They are accessible on the wiki at https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_8_Release_Notes

Another way of doing this is to open the library and click on the last update header. That will display the resources update. I agree with you that I do not like the fact that program updates aren't highlighted and I have to go outside Logos to get to the update notes. The old way was a cleaner process. My thought is if this wasn't a forced change issue, it was a bad move.
