Can you bring back the feature to easily display PB in library?
In L7 we could easily select from a few different presets to look at our library. One of them was Personal Books and it would just show our Personal Books. That feature seems to be gone as the "All" word appears to be a link, but nothing shows when it is clicked.
I do see we can get to it by using the Filter and scrolling all the way down to Editions and Select "User Created", but can you bring back some basic/common filters and have those as a "Quick Access" under the "All"
Such Quick Access ones (in my opinion and no particular order) would be:
- All
- Personal Books
- Church Documents
- Commentaries
- Bibles
- Church Fathers

Search "user created" will do a fairly good job. I tag all my PB's as PBB. Then search for PBB.

The only way I have found was go to the Filter in the library and scroll down to the “editions” category (it is near the bottom) and select “User Created”. It works, and isn’t super difficult, but not nearly as quick and easy as in L7.

I saw that. However I have now noticed that some of my pb are missing

I use tags. I have all my Personal Books tagged as "PB". Then i can type in "mytag:PB" in the library search box and see all my personal books.

That would be a little impractical for those of us that have a ton of PB’s. I thought I had around 900 but it looks like I have close to 1100.

Not really. Just filter all your PB's "user created" and tag them all in one go. 1 minute might do the whole thing.

is there a way to bulk tag 1000+ personal books without going one by one? I have them all filtered in my library, but I don't see an option to bulk tag them.

Keyboard shortcut can Select All so (i) provides Tag entry for selected resources.

Thanks so much! That is a nice workaround for now - I appreciate the tip!
Still, I would love to see a "Quick Filter" option when the "All" is selected - I do think that would be helpful as it was something in L7 that I found helpful - mockup similar to below:

I must admit I neuer even saw that in L7, always quickly typing edition:u for that. The edition facet filter should do that very quickly for you in L8 though.

This gave me the idea of allowing users to "pin to top" their own set of filters. Whataya think?!
