Scrolling within cross-reference pop-up windows

When clicking on a reference link, it would be great if the user could scroll within the resulting popup window to view the entire reference. This would limit the number of times the user needs to select “jump to reference”. This is available in other iOS applications, and it’s a useful time saver when exploring cross-references.

This is complete for downloaded resources.
For example:
1. Download the ESV resource.
2. Navigate to 2 Kings 14:17.
3. Tap on the “h” reference at the beginning of the verse next to “Amaziah”.
4. Tap on either reference link (both show multiple verses).
Result:
All verses in the passage are shown and can be scrolled.

In reference to the above:
In the Logos App section of users voice this says this suggestion is complete and scrolling within a pop-up can be done. However it can not be done unless I am missing something. Can someone from Faithlife comment on this please?
Also, this feature should not be limited to IOS or Android but should also be in the desktop version as well
I am on an IOS, iPad with the Logos 8 App.
Thank You,
Bill

On my iPad - and iPhone - all the verses from both references are shown in the popup and so there is no need to scroll.

    Are you seeing something different?

    Hi Graham!

Sorry for being so late in getting back, I've been away from my PC.

I believe there is a misunderstanding either on my part or the part of Logos as to the expectations of the requested feature.

It does do what you have seen on your devices. However, if you read just below #4 in my OP, it states the following:

Result: All verses in the passage are shown and can be scrolled.

The reason I expected to be able to scroll is that many times within a popup reference I like to scroll above and below a reference to get more information without having to leave my place in my original bible or other resource by "jumping". The feature I desired is standard on Olive Tree if you are familiar with that App. Logos short cutted, or misunderstood the feature request and just enabled us to view the reference only in the popup window without the ability (or need), to scroll which is and was not tmy expected result or the stated result that they mentioned above.

So is it possible to make the feature work as intended or is it back to the drawing board (User Voice)?

Thank you again for your help.

Sorry - I didn't realise you meant that it could be scrolled before and after the specific reference.

I agree this would be helpful and I have seen variants of this discussed in the past.

I have no idea whether this is something Faithlife would consider, though.

I guess I don't understand what they meant when they said "and can be scrolled"

Thank you for responding though, I always appreciate your help on these forums. I'll have to make a new suggestion. But I'll wait until things settle down a bit.

    Hi Bill,

Can you make sure the ESV is downloaded? This video shows you how.

    Tommy thanks for the video.

Yes, the ESV is downloaded as well as NIV & NASB, I can reproduce what the video shows, but, it does not not scroll beyond the reference text in the popup in either direction, that is not what I expected.  maybe you would call what I am asking for "unlimited scrolling" in a popup.

    Does that make sense?
