Logos & Proclaim

Okay, I'm feeling a little dumb. I updated to the new Logos and use the sermon editor in my workflow. Right now I cannot for the life of me figure out how to edit media for a sermon in a way that make sense. All I'm trying to achieve is editing slides for my sermon (Title, Header, Bible). I've abandoned trying to edit it in Logos, because there I cannot find even how to put a background on the standard black template. So I went into Proclaim and made smart media, bundled it, and even placed it on a nice-and-neat board. But when I try to find it on the Logos side, it does not return any results for keywords, series title, etc I've chosen for the smart media. Is there something I'm missing or does Proclaim not sync media to Logos?

Hi Jeremiah - and welcome to the  forums

No, Proclaim does not sync media to Logos.

To change the background on slides in the Logos Sermon Editor, Click the Slide and select Edit which will open the Media Tool. Choose the background you want and then “Update Sermon”

This is from memory so some of the exact words might not match but hopefully this will get you started.

    Hi Graham-

    Well, shoot. That's pretty disappointing.

The current implementation in Logos 8 is broken. When I choose to "Upload" media, it automatically chooses a "content" template, which removed all existing fields and places a standard "Content" field - all without the option to add normal fields (Header, Title, Subheader, Reference, etc). Basically, it converts whatever I'm trying to edit to a nice background with one huge text field. I'll forward this over to the Logos forums.
