Favorite Bible
In the previous version of the mobile IOS app I believe that there was a center button/tab that would always open up to your favorite Bible. That now seems to be missing/moved/changed. Now the center button opens up all of your tabs. Is there a shortcut from the bottom tabs to open your favorite Bible directly or at least be able to add it to the choices on the home button page. It seems there is a very limited set of choices on the home page to add resources other than Today’s reading, devotionals (of which I have no control over the list), Lectionaries and Bible Reading plans again which I have no control over the list. This is also similar to the limitations to the sidebar on the desktop. Am I missing something in settings?

Hi Dennis

Here you go...
Open your favourite Bible in a new page.
(Split the page and add a commentary if you want)
Touch the middle icon on the bottom of the page so that the page recedes and show you some tools.
Touch the Layouts Tool in the bottom right corner (iPad) and give you page a name click done.
There should now be a Card on the Home Page which if touched will take you to your favourite Bible.

In the latest update (8.0.2, I think?), the button to load your favourite bible can now be found on the tab editor in the bottom-right corner.

I don't see this on my iPad. Any chance of a screen shot?

I assume by the tab editor you mean the multiple bars button on the lower right corner? If so it simple brings up a list of choices for Store, Help, Groups, etc. Same function on both iPad and iPhone. What I found works are two things 1) holding the center "tab" selection button (long press) brings up your favorite Bible or 2) if you just touch the center button showing all the tabs then shows in the lower right corner a symbol of a bible which then if touched brings up your favorite bible is that what you Meant. The long press of the center tab button, which I believe is new behavior on IOS 8.02 is more direct.

I just now realized that the tabs button feature for favorite bible was not implemented in LOGOS IOS 8.01 software but LOGOS IOS 8.02. My iPad was on Logos 8.01 after upgrade to 8.02 the small Bible icon appeared. Again this gets back to my comment about where does this get documented so users can take advantage of features or understand the changes??

Because I run the Beta version of the software I don't see the standard notes that come when the App is updated. Changes like this should be documented in 'App Store - Updates'. One often has to press a 'More' link on the update screen to see all the new features.

Hello Mike not sure if you have actually looked at the app notes under “more” but they are that same information as the release notes elsewhere on wiki page essential no much. More detail is needed Especially given changes have to take place with a plan and strucure that the developers follow. Simply sharing this with users would be helpful in terms of as a change list?
