Docs Help
Hello:
I am using the Logos 8 version obtained through the basic cloud subscription. However, I'm using the PC based version and not logging on through the cloud (if that makes sense).
So I have the ESV bible opened. I go to Docs, Select New and then Passage List.
The Reference box already says ESV.
Under add, I only see selected text, other passage list, a file and clipboard.
According to Help, there should be a selection for Highlights (there was in 7). I'm looking to build a passage list of all my highlighted passages in my ESV bible. And I can't seem to get it to work. In addition, I also tried selecting a passage of text in the ESV and then trying Add selected text...but that did not seem to work either. What am I doing wrong?

Welcome to the forums Kevin.
If I understand you correctly you want to see all your highlighted notes from your ESV and then save into a passage list. You can do this by opening the side panel and choosing highlights. (see below)
Is this is what you are looking to accomplish?

I realized that it doesn't work like I thought it would and found this discussion on the problem - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/174805.aspx
It looks like there are some issues with this and Faithlife is looking into them.

Bruce, Thank you, yes that's what I wanted! One question though to follow up. That works in the cloud version, is there a way to do the same when you launch the full program from a PC?

Sorry, I don't fully understand what you are asking. Can you elaborate more?

Just that there is a difference between logging in to the web at app.logos.com vs clicking the program button on your computer.

I didn't realize you were speaking about using the web app. I seldom use it as I'm usually on the desktop. I don't really have enough knowledge of it to help regarding this. I hope someone else can chime in.
