When importing a verse it does not include a reference or the option to include the reference. I noticed the same thing on the desktop app. Why does it not import the reference as well?

Are you talking about the resource reference (i.e. ESV, NASB, etc) or the verse or passage reference (e.g. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, John 3:16, etc)?

I know of no way change the way it inserts the passages. The only work-around I can think of would be to insert one of the text items and enter the passage manually.
