Outline a Book of the Bible
Is there a dedicated tool I can use to outline a book of the Bible (or a section)?
I believe I could use multiple notes in a notebook, like "1st Peter Outline" notebook, that seems do-able but disjointed.
I could make an outline for the whole book in one note at the beginning of the book - but then I'm stuck with the (awful in my opinion) 1. a. etc. system of outlining rather than the I. A. 1. system
In the tool Passage Analysis there is the Compare Pericope Sets feature - can I create my own set?

The Sermon Document can be used to create such an Outline but only with 1. a. i. etc... I do not know of any other dedicated Tool to do it.
Do you know about the Personal Books Tool that can be used to import Word Documents? This is the most versatile option.

Yes, I know of the Personal Books Tool - though I rarely use it.
I'm guessing I'm wanting to see how I've outlined a book as I study within it, not open multiple resources to compare back and forth with.
Personal Books may be the best option available at this time.

you might want to check the sentence diagramming tool. I have used it for outlining and it works for me.

I agree. I have full personal outlines on almost every single book of the Bible, and I always keep them in Word documents. Doing them in Word and importing through Personal Books is also advantageous because Headings in Word will be automatically turned into a table of contents in your new personal book. I do this for my outlines, my papers, my doctrinal statements... you name it.

Well, I'm a Microsoft Office whiz - I better start thinking of Personal Books more seriously.
The one issue I remember having with them earlier was the need to recompile after changes where made in Word.

Glad the example helped
. Recompiling can be tedious, especially if you have a large amount of files in one book. My OT outlines take about 2 minutes to compile. The other thing you have to watch out for is that if you rename your file, or move your files, you will have to delete them from your book and add them all again from scratch. I once switched from Google Drive to One Drive and had to completely redo all my books. I then realized OneDrive is not as good, and had to switch back and do it all over again
