Linking Resources?
In Logos 8 how can I link say Bibles to that they synchronize when moving one of them?

This is done in the same manner as previous versions... it is called a "link set." Previously this menu was found in the "book cover" menu. This has been replaced by the "kebob" (Three vertical dots) menu in the resource panel. To have resources move together, they will need to be in the same "link set" (i.e. "A").

Our standard terminology for this is “panel menu”.

Martin,
Bama's answer is exactly right, but since you don't have many forum posts, I'm going to guess you are relatively new, so I'm putting up a couple screen shots for you. (If you don't need them, just ignore this.)
In the first pic, I have two bibles open (since that was your specific question...but this works for a bible and a commentary, etc., as well. On the left is the NKJV and on the right is the ESV. (You should be able to click the pics to enlarge them if needed.)
Now I've opened the kebab (or panel menu, if you prefer)...noted by the arrow.
In the box, you'll see a "Link set:" and about six letters. Pick one and click on it. (I used 'B' in this example.)
Next, open the same kebab (panel menu) on the second bible, and click on the SAME letter (B in this example).
Now you can see the two are linked (blue 'B' icons)...see the screen shot below. These will follow along with each other.
HTH.

I took a look at the training on the link you published but can’t find training for the iPad. The iPhone training doesn’t work exactly like the iPad does. For example, I can’t get my tabs to sync.

Hi Samuel
And welcome to the forums
For mobile-related issues please post in https://community.logos.com/forums/150.aspx as it is more liable to be seen by people working with / using mobile devices.
But, tabs don't sync between mobile devices if that is what you are looking for.

There used to be the ability to have one particular resource link to any other resource only when I clicked on a word or passage. For example: I like to have the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge (TSK) jump to the Scriptural reference I click on. Since I usually have multiple copies of the Bible opened and not all linked together, I could simply click on Bible A, B, or C and the TSK would jump to the reference I clicked on. I just accidentally closed that my TSK tab. Now I cannot figure out to set up that "click link" ability again. It seems the only option is to link it to one or more particular link set.
What am I missing? Did this feature go away with Logos 8? Thank you all so much for your input!

Tyler, if you don't get a helpful reply, I suggest you start a new thread with a descriptive title. Piggybacking on old threads sometimes doesn't get your question noticed.

Tyler,
I think you mean the option to "Send hyperlinks here", this will make whatever resource jump when a hyperlink (such as Bible references) to that location provided that it uses the same milestones.

Thanks, Doc B... good advice!
Also, thank you Ms. Crouch. I will try that and see if that is what I'm looking for.
