Using search for person intersecting word
I tried a Logos 8 search template to come up with this search:
{Speaker <Person Jesus>} INTERSECTS "thanks"
I found that it did not reveal Mark 14:23: "And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it." (NASB95)
So how might I have searched for Jesus giving thanks or a blessing?
Have a great day,

One suggestion is using Bible Sense Lexicon
<Person Jesus> INTERSECTS <Sense to thank>

Mark 14:23 is narrative not direct speech so no speaker is assigned and the search should not be expected to return it as a result.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Expanded search a bit to include vocative addressed to God

Hmm. Does this mean I have to learn Klingon? [:D]

Using search for person intersecting word
I agree with all previous advice. Your question also suggest that you may not know that "thanks" INTERSECT <Person Jesus>. How would you go about to discover words intersecting Jesus?
You can also search all instances for a Part of Speech using Morph. You will find that "thanks" will not be highlighted in Mark 14:23 because "given thanks" translates the Greek word εὐχαριστήσας. Only "given" will be found.
Use the following possibility only in a short references, chapter or maybe a book. This is to discover words related to a letter of the alphabet.
(t*,b*) INTERSECTS <Person ~ Jesus>
You can extend (t*,b*) with the complete alphabet but this will slow down the search and take very long.

Learning Greek provides new meaning for phrase "that's Greek to me" [:P]
{Speaker <Person Jesus>} INTERSECTS <Person God> includes prayers plus much more.
Morph Search has a picker for Noun Vocative
Changing Morph Search {Speaker <Person Jesus>} INTERSECTS <Person God> INTERSECTS <LogosMorphGr ~ NV???>
to Bible Search has automatic "Klingon" modification

Search <Person Jesus> INTERSECTS thanks
includes results that have two more senses
Pieter J Kotze said:You will find that "thanks" will not be highlighted in Mark 14:23
Verb has <Sense = to pray (petition)> so search can be expanded
