Trim home page in Logos 8

Does anyone know a way to control (read: delete) most of the content on the home page? There are a few useful links there to features I have, but most of the page seems devoted to sales with all the content controlled by Logos. I have already spend $thousands and now Logos 8 greets me with more sales offers. If I want unsolicited sales offers, I will put my name on more spam lists.

Also, with all the sales offers interspersed with the actual content, this new home page takes a LONG time to load. Part of the reason I switched to Logos years ago was the speed. Now, it is not fast and not a day passes when I load the home page that I don't get inundated with sales pitches.

I know I can load a different starting point. But, "Home" seems to imply something I would design for myself rather than someone else deciding that I need to spend more money.

If this is not possible now, can I recommend a FULLY customizable home page in future releases?
