Automatically Open Guides On Search?
Hey there,
On Logos 7 when I typed a scripture reference into the search box the passage guide and exegetical guide for that passage would automatically load. This isn't happening anymore in Logos 8. Is there a setting I am missing?

If you are talking about the 5 panel layout that opened when you typed a passage on the Home Page, I have the same issue. I loved that layout and now have to open it manually. Miss it.

I can't remember when this changed. The current beta has this as the default behaviour now, to open Passage Study Layout when typing a reference. I think before it defaulted to your preferred bible only.

Zak, I figured it out. In that "Go" box on the Home Page type in your scripture reference. An autofill menu will open below the box with options. The first heading in the autofill box is "LAYOUT." Under that is the option, "Open Passage to (the scripture reference you entered)." Select that option and you will get the familiar 5-panel layout. I hope this helps. It works for me.

The GO Box behaviour changed from Logos 7, and now you have to do what you describe for a passage. The 8.1 beta makes it a little easier.
For a Topic, you have to type something like open topic to salvation, and select the option under "Layout". In Logos 7, you only had to type salvation.
