Vanishing Notes in iOS Logos 8.0.3

Background Info:

HARDWARE: I use Logos with the same account on (1) PC Win 8.1, (2) MacBook Pro macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, (3) iPad Pro 10.5 iOS 12.1. I use the PC for study and lesson prep, I use the MacBook for teaching and the iPad for remote Bible reading and I hope one day to be able to teach using the iPad but that seems to be slipping away.

SOFTWARE: Logos 8 Silver Baptist on PC and Mac; Logos 8 iOS 8.0.3 on iPad Pro.

My Problem:

Nov. 11th: I upgraded my iPad Pro to Logos 8 and I could see my notes in my preferred Bible resource (Note icons). At this time I had Logos 7 on my PC and Mac.

Nov 12th: I purchased an upgrade on my PC/Mac to Logos 8 Silver and now on my iPad Pro I cannot see any note icons in my preferred Bible where they were created on my PC/Mac.All my highlights are missing also except the ones I created since the PC/Mac upgrade. All my notes were created using selection instead of reference and they were created in my preferred Bible (NASB). I can edit all my note in the iOS Notes windows but I just can't see them in the resource. This should rule out sync problems.

I would appreciate any help you guys can give me on this issue.

    Hi Don

Thanks for the detailed information - very helpful.

    And this seems very strange!

There is a known issue where - in some cases - notes are not displayed unless the resource is downloaded to your device. It doesn't exactly match what you are describing but can you check if you have downloaded the NASB to your iPad? If not, please download it and see if the notes appear

    Thanks Graham,

I have checked and the resource (NASB) is downloaded.

    Thanks for your help.

    UPDATE:

After trying many things plus posting on this forum I came up with what I think is the answer to my "Missing Note Icon" problem. The solution is costing me some effort but I think I have fixed the "Vanishing Note Icon" issue by uninstalling and reinstalling Logos iOS on my iPad. It seems to have fixed the problem.

I still have a LOT to learn about this new version of Logos but for now I can at least use the app again.

MY PLEA to FaithLife: Please create and post a video on using the new Notes in the mobile app. There are many things we need to know about this new feature in Logos iOS. (I just wish I could turn of the display of the anchored reference text in all my notes like I can on the PC/Mac version.)
