TIP of the day is back ... even if you don't see it
At 68 pages and 59 screen shots the .docx file would not upload even when zipped. So I've posted it on Tip of the day Logos/Verbum which I intended to use for "most recent copy" for updates and for discussion, suggestions, corrections ... I likely need to adjust the security parameters so please be patient. And I need to write directions to download and compile as a personal book. Samples to whet your appetite.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I very much welcome the return of the "TIP of the day". Thanks for doing this MJ. I've appreciated it over the years.
I've joined the Faithlife Group you created and see the file that you have uploaded the file to be used as a Personal Book. This guide to ancient literature looks great. Do you see this as a completed book now?
Are you planning other similar documents? How do you see using this in the future?

MJ,
Excellent job on your first installment of the new TIP of the day. Thanks for putting this together.

Thanks a lot! More than simply 'a tip' or how-to, this is an exhaustive user manual to this guide. Very well done.
Have joy in the Lord!

Thank you MJ. I am so glad that you have brought back TIP. My prayer is that these TIPS will help others to more efficiently use Logos and then to use it to better help others in the Kingdom.

Thank you, M.J.!
It's humbling to know you're willing to put so much work into something like this to help others make better use of the software.

No, especially not this first one. I expect some corrections to what is there. I hope feedback will provide more material for the questions/answers, and uses sections. And I hope to be able to remove some of the bugs & suggestions as Faithlife gets to them. The Faithlife group will always have the most recent version.

I'm working through the Guide sections first and then will tackle other portions of the system. My hope is that in 2-3 years, if you compile them all into a personal book you'll have a typical software "bible" for Logos/Verbum.

I like it. I may have amendments after the next segment is released depending upon whether people collate the files or create separate books. But you definitely caught my taste.
