Feature Request: Please make where can copy paste from panels

When I use the Exegitial guide and it brings up the info, I just want to copy and paste the word and definition to notes in Logos but I can't even highlight information in the window. I can click to open in study guide but why can't I copy paste from the EG panel?

Im on a Mac 10.14 Logos 8.

why can't I copy paste from the EG panel?

The simple answer is that the code to support that hasn't been written (and our UI toolkit doesn't provide it for free). While it might seem simple, text selection starts getting very tricky when you need to support indentation, text formatting, multiple languages, inline graphics, bi-di text, etc.

The best you can do at this time is right click on the "Word by Word" section header and select "Copy". This will copy the entire contents of the section to your clipboard. The formatting is pretty close to non-existent, and you'll have to trim out a lot of stuff you don't want.

Good to know! Pasting the whole section to Word and then copying desired portions from Word to Notes may (or may not be) easier, depending on the amount of information copied to the clipboard from your guide section.
