SUGGESTION: That will Allow more room for Customized Shortcut Icons
Remove the large Logos icon that's to the left of the "Home" icon in the upper left of the screen and shift everything else on that row to the left. This will allow more room for customized shortcut icons.
I already know I'm using Logos, but if I forget, I can still be reminded by the row at the very top of the screen that also has a Logos icon and is followed by the text string "Logos Bible Software".

Some of us switch frequently between Logos and Verbum ... one being the beta, the other being the stable version.

Copy that! In that scenario, would the remaining top row that still has the Logos icon followed by the text string "Logos Bible Software" be sufficient to easily tell when in Logos vs Verbum?MJ. You misunderstand - I don't use the set to Verbum ... I run two installations - one beta, one stable ... one is Verbum, one is Logos. This allows me to answer questions from either on the forums. However, I have reason to suspect that we may see data added to the icon. There was in a beta but the beta testers insisted on greater visibility.

I agree with MJ. The brand logo is more likely to receive some functionality/use than it is to be removed.

Hey, Reuben! By "functionality", I assume you mean that right clicking on it will bring up access to some function(s)/feature(s). If so, I could understand its presence and use of the space. But ...if its intended to remain nothing more than an icon, I'd rather have the extra space for shortcuts. The remaining icon and text string in the top row, identifying the app as Logos would be more than sufficient for me.Reuben Helmuth said:I agree with MJ. I guess we won't know unless Faithlife comments or we see some functionality added to the icon in a future update.

It's intended to be multi-function: Sync + Notifications. Which should free some space from the RHS of the toolbar

Would it be too hard to allow an additional row for more customized shortcut icons to be added? Other programs such as Microsoft allow users to select multiple rows for their customized icons.

I wouldn't necessarily want another row of shortcut icons -- vertical space is at a premium -- unless FL also added a preference for it. I'd prefer to see some type of folder/drop-down list for shortcuts, so I could put all related shortcuts in one folder.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

You might consider using Favorites/Bookmarks as another way to organize shortcuts. Anything you can drag to the toolbar can be dragged to Favorites/Bookmarks. With Bookmarks you even get a keyboard shortcut although it's rather limited.
