How do I make "top bibles" my default bible search focus? TIA
If you set a Bible Search to use "Top Bibles" then the next time you run a Bible Search it will default to the same.
Does this give you what you want?

Thanks Graham. It works if I leave the search window open. But after closing it, it defaults to the single prioritized bible.

Strange - I've just done a test with just a Bible Search pane open
When I close that panel and open the Bible Search again it opens set to search Top Bibles.
But you can get this type of behaviour if your have multiple Search panels open. If, for example, you have one searching on Top Bibles and another on a single Bible. Could this explain what you are seeing?

Thanks Graham. It seems to default to my prioritized bible each time after closing the search pane. But it's not too much to re-select "top bibles" each time. [update] If I begin with the search pane it works great as you say. It is when I type into the search strip at the top of the page and hit Go, that it defaults to the prioritized bible. No biggie. Thanks for looking into this.

Strange - are you running on Windows or Mac?

I edited my last post with your solution working well. Thanks

Even more interesting.
I get something like the screenshot below - do you see something different?

I have the same.

If I press "Go" at that point it opens a Bible Word Study Guide - not a Bible Search.
To get a search on an individual Bible i would need to select the second option from the bottom.
What do you get when you press Go?

Yes, this is what I get. I think everything is good. I think the best way to describe what I was looking for would be: In the library prioritized books and bibles screen, giving equal weight to 3-4 bibles so they all become searchable at the same time from the "layout search strip". But using the search screen instead, works just as well. Thanks for looking into this.
