Word lists by book by count
I know how to create a word list by book, but I was wondering if there was a way to create a list, say, of all the words appearing in Galatians that appear less than 12x in the NT (so not "all" the words of the book itself). Any idea how to make this work?

Sure you can make the list and then sort by frequency. Just delete what you don’t want.

Sure you can make the list and then sort by frequency. Just delete what you don’t want.
That is frequency in the book, whereas frequency in the NT was requested
- Create a word list from the book e.g. Galatians
- Create a word list of the whole NT
- sort by frequency
- delete words that occur more frequently than what you want
- Merge the two word lists by Intersection (from one of the lists)
#2 is not easy, A Faithlife group may have a Word List for the NT

Hello Dave,
I want to make Syriac word list for each book of Peshitta NT, which will have vocalized Syriac words, the number of occurrence and the English translation. I need the list of different word/forms NOT the total number of words. I tried to do it I encountered couple of problems. First, it didn't give the English translations of the Syriac words. Secondly, it gives way longer list of books than the book really has. For example, according to Accordance, the list of total words in Matthew is 18471, but the number of different forms is 1344. When I make a word list for Matthew in Logos 9, it gives 5782 words. I am confused now and don't really have explanation for this.
Do you know how to make a Syriac word list of different forms for each book of Peshitta NT?
BTW, I am using Logos 9 Academic Basic free version.

2 is not easy, A Faithlife group may have a Word List for the NT
Maybe a hint: create a word list from each book, sort each list by word then somehow combine the lists and sum each word.

Thanks. I can do a word list for the whole Syriac NT but that's not what I need.
