Great update 8.0.6 on iOS
The 8.0.6 update is great. I really like that groups open in a different screen, I always had trouble with the other way always closing. Fixed the resource bookmark so you don’t have to remember where you were. Thanks programmers for the update, looking forward to other tweaks you have.

For the most part it does seem better with a few exceptions. It takes a long time from when you select the text you want to go to from the grid to when your desired text actually appears. I have already posted regarding the crash when changing note icon (which was verified by Graham). I have yet to test the stability of selecting text for either highlighting or inclusion of a note.

I agree - we seem to be back on track to having a useable app.
Highlights and notes still very problematic though:-
Notes can still only be anchored to the version of the Bible you are using. we need to be able to anchor to just a reference without any specific version.
Highlighting is still very difficult. I still find the app going to the next screen when I drag across it.
Now off to test the resource tracking which is now supposed to be working once again - Hallelujah!

OK, so I got over-excited.
The ability to add tags to notes does not seem to be in the app!
I’m on 8.0.6 on iPad Pro.

How do you create a resource bookmark?

I was happy to finally receive the update, but unfortunately I still have the same problems. After an hour or 2 of reading I have encountered a blank screen, one crash, a couple of times when the pages wouldn’t turn over.... I’m a little disappointed, to put it mildly.

a couple of times when the pages wouldn’t turn over.
I've had that problem too. The page switch animation plays, but I end up at the same page I was previously. As a work around, sometimes switching to landscape and back again temporarily fixes it.

Not so much a bookmark, but now when I go back into a book I was reading it takes me to where I left off, not the beginning of the book as before. That said, I would like to see them do a bookmark, like Kindle or other reading apps have.

Thanks, I’ll try that next time it happens!

It worked twice, but at the third time I got blank screens on all open tabs and had to restart.

Yeah, like I said, it sometimes works. It’s a huge bug, so hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

That bug and other flavors of it have been regular occurrences since 8.x. Bummed it’s still there in this release.

I don’t even know what groups is. Don’t know how it relates to a mobile Bible study app.

It relates to Faithlife Groups - and is particularly applicable to the Faithlife Study Bible which provides easy access to those groups.

Not being able to see the text that you highlighted in a note is one of my biggest concerns.
