Left menus not sticking
The left menus are reverting (scrolling back all the way to the top) whenever I which to another resource and then switch back.
For example, if I am reading, say, Hebrews in the ESV, and then jump to another resource and then back to ESV again, the ESV menu is now showing me Genesis instead of Hebrews—so I need to constantly refocus my menu in order to continue to navigate near where I was previously navigating, e.g., in Hebrews.
The very annoying menu-resetting behavior is new to Logos 8.

Do you mean the table of content entries? If so I can reproduce this on a slightly inconsistent basis!
It seems to be worse if multiple sections are open to display the chapters in those books - do you see this?
And sometimes switching to the alternative resource and then back to the ESV again will put the ToC pointer back to where it should be!

I cannot replicate correct functionality of the ToC pointer. It fails every time for me, so I am constantly chasing the ToC in order to get back to where I was.

The TOC is definitely not functioning as it should
1. I can reproduce OP behaviour (TOC seems to revert to the previous reading)
2. If I go to Hebrews in ESV, TOC will sometimes not move
