Yes, the Moravian Daily Texts is a long lived devotional that illustrates what Logos needs to do to start supporting Devotional Workflows. See Moravian Daily Texts / Watchwords / Losungen 2016 for the conversion into a lectionary format.
In an ideal world, the hymn stanzas of the Moravian Daily Texts would also be supported. But that is a step too far for the current suggestion.
The basic workflow is something like this where steps 1-3 are the core of the Moravian Daily Texts and step 4 is the optional lectionary readings. Step 5 (not shown) is a journaling/prayer opportunity.
What is needed to make this work?
- a workflow that runs off a lectionary date
- a workflow that can handle multiple Bible texts ... using lectionary titles to associate them with the correct steps.
