Is there a way within the app (Logos 8) or via this website to export a list of all the books I own?

thanks

There was this other software someone created that was really handy and would put EVERYTHING you owned, not just books, into an excel..   It even had a cool feature where you could display you books like on a web page like book shelf..   Forgot the name of it and I am at work but was thinking about this the other day and hoping it still works with L8..

From within the Library, you can click on the 3-dot menu icon, top right of the library panel, choose Print/Export, and export to Excel.

If you have filtered your library, e.g. added in the last 7 days, then  only those resources will be exported.

This was the tool I used with L7.  Will try it when I get home to see if it works with L8

    LLR website

    LLR website

Windows program to generate Library reports for your Logos Bible Software

    View on l4libreport.clark-tx.net

    Preview by Yahoo

Print/Export from the Library only works in Logos6 not in Logos5.

If you want to export a list of all your books to Excel you could use my free tool
LLR (Logos Library Reporter). It works on Windows computers and works with L4, L5, & L6.

It will allow you to export to a csv file which Excel reads. After opening it in Excel you will want to save it as an Excel file to keep your changes to how you changed its layout.

There are other advantages to the program. It allows you to keep track of changes to your library. Creates reports on your library which can contain many details on each book (Author, Type, Publisher, Ratings, etc.). These reports are stored as webpages on your computer. You can give filenames for the webpages and they remain on your computer for viewing later (you can even bookmark them in your browser).

    Edit:

Steps to create a CSV file from LLR

    1. Close Logos program

    2. On the Read Catalog tab, click on the Read DB button (LLR gets a copy of your Logos database)

    3. Click on the Save DB button (wait for data to be copied to LLR's database)

    4. Click to change the tab to Reports.

    5. Click to select report: All books by Logos Type.

    6. Click to check Create CSV File

    7. Click the Generate Report button.

    8. Open Window's Explorer to Documents\Logos Lib Webpage\MyReports\ and double-click on All Books.csv (this will open the csv file into Excel if you have Excel on your computer).

LLR (Logos Library Reporter). It works on Windows computers and works with L4, L5, & L6.

Does not list L7 nor L8 and the post was from Nov 27 2018.     I have used back then but it stopped working at some point.

Last updated version was dated Jan 27, 2016     Did not see a date of last update to the web site.

The developer was steve clark who has since gone on to his reward. His many apps are sorely missed. We are unlikely to receive any updates on his work.

Thanks for letting us know. I exported the Monogram list to text file, imported in LibraryThing. Alas no ISBN's. All that remains for me is to (manually) put the right cover on 600+ books...
