Passage Guide
I have Logos 8. The Passage guide does not work. Anybody else having trouble with this? Any solutions? When I put in a Bible reference, nothing happens. Clicking the small arrow to the right of the passage does not help. It disappears. I can use it online but not on my computer. Thanks for any help.

Sorry you are having difficulty, but could you please supply some additional information?
Which version of Logos? What OS? Can you provide a screenshot? Logs—see the appropriate link in my signature.

Be glad to. Logos 8 and windows 8.1. I'll have to work on the log. That's totally foreign to me.

Are you selecting the passage from the drop-down list? First Guide of the day I sometimes forget this step.

A drop down does not appear. When I type in the verse, click on the arrow to the right, the arrow disappears. Nothing else.

what system are you on? I get a moving line showing me it is thinking then something like
Hitting the arrow does nothing until I've selected from the list (or the top one by default).

I typed in Luke 1:5-45. there is no drop down.

Have you tried restarting your computer?
You mentioned above that you are using "Logos 8," but that isn't the specific engine. For example, I am running 8.0 SR-2. Which engine are you running?

Try right-clicking it in the Guides menu under Guides (not Custom Guides) and select Edit. Delete some sections and try again.

Not sure if I did this right. I followed steps 1 and 2 on your instructions. Not sure if i moved over what you wanted. When I opened Logos with control key held down, i clicked on Passage Guide. Then typed in Luke 1:5-45. Hit enter. Nothing happened. No drop down. Thanks for your help.

A full fledged techie will need to review your logs. Until then, for clarification: Did this work for you in L7?

it did work n L7. Thanks. I just spoke with a tech person who saw no problems with the log. We are currently rebuilding the index I believe. Thanks fore all your help.
