Shibboleth app
I downloaded Shibboleth years ago and it is great when I forget what key stands for what Hebrew character. What is the latest version of Shibboleth? Is there a user manual? For instance, I want to copy a word and paste it into a document, and I have not learned how to do that. Muchas gracias.
Oh yes, one more thing. I own Logos 8, but was wondering if people who do not own Logos can download Shibboleth to use on their computers.

I've never needed to use Shibboleth or other third-party app. As an alternative, both Windows and macOS have keyboard viewers for their international keyboards, so you can see which keys correspond to a particular character. Both operating systems make it easy to toggle back and forth between your native and Hebrew keyboard.
I chose the QWERTY layout for my Hebrew keyboard, which puts the aleph on the A key, bet on the B key, and so on. Less for me to remember (as I'm not accustomed to using an actual Hebrew keyboard).
Pressing the Shift or Control/Option key will show you Hebrew vowels, and other special characters.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Logos itself also has downloadable alphabets of Hebrew, Greek, and one or more other languages. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the link on the Logos site. Perhaps some kind soul can do so.

Found the link! https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=Keyboards+for+Ancient+Languages
Please note that this is for Windows and goes back to Logos 4. My hunch is that it will work in Logos 8 (I'm waiting to upgrade until more bugs get squashed), and perhaps even on a Mac. Best wishes.
BTW: keyboards include Greek, Hebrew, Syriac, Coptic, and for transliteration.

Thanks, I re-downloaded so that I could get the PDF manual. I have not figured out, and the manual does not seem to help, how to copy and paste something from Shibboleth to Word or somewhere else. Any ideas on that. I have tried, over the years, on the rate occasions where I need to use it, to copy and paste, and this does not work.

Yeah, this is the same layout I use, as it is so easy to remember most of what I need. How do I access the "viewer"?

Sorry, but I don't understand what the "viewer" is. Perhaps my problem is that I haven't tried Shibboleth. Hoping someone more knowledgeable that I will come along[:D]

Logos Help Center article => Hebrew and Greek Input Options mentions keyboard viewer for macOS (pressing shift, option, and/or command changes characters on keys)
Microsoft has Windows Keyboard layout documents => https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/globalization/windows-keyboard-layouts

Shibboleth is an older Windows application; thread => Shibboleth utility
