Missing the "here's what updated" banner in Logos 8

I remember Faithlife trying to kill this "feature" off in 7, so it seems they've tried to again in 8, however....

I really found it helpful to have the drop-down box that told me whenever there were either library resources updated (and don't @ me on this... I know how to find it in the library using "last updated" filter) or software updates to newer builds, etc.

Any chance this could return? It's really helpful.

This has been a frequent complaint for many in the threads. I believe FL is working to bring either one or both of those elements back to the L8 home screen, though I do not know when.

Logos 8 Help Center => Changes from Logos 7 to Logos 8 includes Home Page

    4. Update notifications: There are no longer notifications on the Home Page for application and resource updates. We plan to bring these back in the near future. You can see resource updates in the Library with the new Added facet, which you’ll find at the bottom of the new Sidebar menu.

We should not be waiting for this feature to come back, FL should not have removed it from the Home Page in the first place.  It shows they are out of touch with customers when they do stuff like that.  Given their past behaviour as company they have not always stuck to this lists of coming soon features and when Libronix 3 move to Logos 4 they took such a list down overnight with no explanation and there were features on that list that were never brought over to Logos 4 despite the initial promise. Lets hope they keep their word this time.

Just for the sake of precision, they rewrote the Home Page and did not get this feature recoded for the new home page. I agree it is an important feature.
