Formatting is lost when pasting into Notes?
In Logos 7, I could copy my notes from Word and paste them into Logos, and formatting would be kept. Logos 8 loses that ability. This isn't a minor issue. I use what I call "inline comments" during my initial work on a passage. It allows me to quickly follow the biblical text and also make basic notes.
Unfortunately, Logos 8 turns this:
into this:
Suffice it to say that I'm bummed about this.

What OS?
Why do you create it in Word and bring it into Logos?

mac IS 10.14, Mojave
It’s much faster to use Word’s styles than do the formatting in Logos.

...and these are notes you want to keep... they aren't "preaching notes for this sunday?"

Do you attach the notes to a reference? I.e. When you are reading in your text and come to "John 3:16" you see a flag which takes you to the note on your commentary. Is that how you are using it?
If not, I wonder if a personal book would be better... and if you could keep some of the formatting.

This is a known problem. As a work around if you paste the formatted text into OneNote and then copy the text from OneNote and paste it into a Logos Note it retains the formatting.

It's only a partial fix. The color is pasted in with the formatting, but not font choices or sizes.
I also tried Apple Pages and TexEdit, and Notability, and they didn't work any better than Word.
Disappointing.

Yes, notes are attached to specific references (most of the time, anyway). And, I use different flags to differentiate study notes, quick jots of info, and sermon text.
I love using personal books for static text, but notes can and do change.

[Y] Thanks for clarifying. Sounds like you have a good system in place. Hopefully this can be fixed.
