I am not trying to rush or anything. I am going to be away from desk most of the day and was just wondering if it would be profitable to leave Logos 4 Mac running in the hope of an update.
That may work. A-14 did auto update for me, but 11, 12, 13, & 13a did not.
It usually arrives at 1pm or so. Just be patient.... Got to love that word.
i decided to not log on and check until after 2:30 EST...well, it's not here yet. last updated posted on a tuesday...
all about Christ,

It's 3:05 EST. (Sigh) No a15. The suspense is great.
You think it's bad for you guys on EST. Try over here on GMT. It's 8.19 pm already and still no A15. It may not come till after my bedtime. How am I going to sleep?! [|-)]
alan,
hopefully with both eyes closed! [;)]
the auto update does work now, maybe you will wake to a brand new logos?!?!

Looks like the release will be tomorrow.
As the Alpha progresses, more and more people are depending on it, so, despite the Alpha nature of the process, we're trying to maintain at least consistent stability. Occasionally, this requires us to adjust our release dates by a day or two.
Good cooking takes time. If you are made to wait, it is to serve you better, and to please you.
You take all the time you want Cameron, feel free to even skip this release cycle. What is a couple more weeks in the scheme of things. [:D]
Now, I am going to go hide where the other Mac users can't find me.
Fine by me. Now I can sleep easy. [S]
Pleasant aroma is tantalizing [:)]
Terry,
I see you hiding over in Utah...[H]
Seriously though, if I were told no more updates for 1 month and in 1 month it will be on par with Windows, I would deal with this build.

THX CAMERON!! its 12:20am [CST] and i'm hungry for some "good cookn'' GOD BLESS BRO! you guys are doing a great job!
Moses would understand the 'blessings and curses' of Alpha development.
The curse is that they give us the update in what they think is the morning - but it is actually half way through the evening.
The blessing is that you get really cheerful telephone support in the middle of the night because they don't understand how late it is. - (Skype works just great.)
Greetings from really (yes really) sunny Scotland
Mike
Hey Mike, I'm with you here in Europe, Italy (sunny but cold and windy) to be exact. I understand the time difference. So tell me, what's the story in Balamory? Glad to hear you have some sun. [H]
hoping A15 is actually B1 [:D]
hoping A15 is actually B1
It's not. Changing the designation to Beta from Alpha is an emergent property of the process. In other words, we'll call it a Beta when we're mostly done with feature implementations. Arbitrarily designating it Beta wouldn't make us any closer to done. A change from Alpha to Beta would indicate that we believe we're close to done.
Even a basic look at the list of features that are incomplete in Logos 4 Mac reveals some major feature areas that remain, namely:
The above list is not comprehensive, either. I don't say this to discourage anyone. We're making good progress and things are moving more quickly all the time as we grow the team and continue to make improvements. But I doubt we'll begin calling it a "Beta" until most, if not all, items on the above list are mostly implemented. And I don't think we've released a major feature area yet that was not implemented in Alpha N and then 95% finished in Alpha N+1. That is to say, you'll likely see primitive versions of these features in an Alpha before we go to Beta.
"IM READY!" "I'M READY!" "I'M READY!" ---- Spongebob Squarepants! [:D]
and then...
WHERE'S A15?? If anyone finds it let me know!! I WANT IT!! [:P]

Remember the fourth fruit: Galatians 5:22 ...
"Patience, for the Jedi it is time to eat as well."[pi]
My old Scots mother had a saying, "Fools and bairns (kids US English) shouldn't see half-finished work, as she shooed us out of her kitchen." Cameron, brother, you take just as long as you like. I'll even wait till next Monday if you say it will take as long as that.
Of course, I do patience. I'm a Scots husband. [;)]
So is it a day or two?????[*-)]
i think it must be two...[:'(]
Technically, I don't think it is too late for a new alpha today. But, I guess we shall see.
while Logos is in the pacific timezone, i think they use the GMT timezone...at least that was the discussion last update...
David
sooooooooo......A15 wont be here tomorrow?
Has anyone sent food yet? I remember reading in the FAQ that food would really help with development. Anyone live near Logos offices? We could all pitch in to send something.
