Any user created Topical Sermon workflows?

Currently there is not an option to build a Workflow based on a Topic. There is a Basic Biblical Topic Study Workflow available out of the box though. But, I personally don't find it very useful to study a topic from the Bible as a starting point. As user we'll need to think out of the box at this stage. You can build a Topical Workflow and just select any random kind to start it up. Then you build your workflow with links to searches, guides and tools. Just remember and make a note in the workflows description that the the reference Box in the workflow on startup of the workflow will not have any effect on this workflow.

I know of all the quick methods using different tools and guides in Logos, but they tend to restrict your own discovery of a topic. I'll describe a method I use in short. Maybe it will guide you in a direction to explore a topic directly from the bible on your own. Please do this prayerfully.

This method make use of a search analysis and two different groupings. First grouping analysis is by reference and sense, the second is by sense and then reference.

1. Run a search on a word in the ESV, for example: love
2. Select the Analysis View in the Results

GROUP BY REFERENCE AND SENSE

1. Group the results by reference and then sense
2. Sort By Reference
3. Collapse All
4. Review the senses in the top 5 References
5. Make a Note of each sense
6. Expand the senses one by one
7. Observe the reference for each specific sense using the next steps

INVESTIGATE

1. Ask specific questions to each verse for each sense

ACTIONS

1. Does the verse state any actions to practice on this specific sense?
2. Does the verse state any actions to avoid on this specific sense?

OUTCOME

1. Does the verse state any positive result that will be the outcome if that specific sense is practiced?
2. Does the verse state any negative result that will be the outcome if that specific sense is not practiced?

RELATIONAL

1. Will the actions on this sense benefit the way you praise God?
2. Will the actions on this sense benefit relations among human beings?
3. Will the actions on this sense benefit you personally?

ETERNITY

1. Did I force my own preconceptions on the text?
2. Are these discoveries eternal truths?
3. Are these discoveries always true?

REPEAT

1. Repeat this for the Top 5 References

GROUP BY SENSE AND REFERENCE

1. For each sense you made a Note of,
2. Explore the top 5 verses
3. look if there are additional verses for each Sense that expound the sense with additional meaning
4. ask the questions from the previous step to each verse

OUTLINE

1. Group your discoveries by sense or
2. Maybe follow the order of one of the top 5 References in the first step that will form the Base Text for the Topic?
3. Formulate each sense into a meaningful sentence to create a piece of fruit full of spiritual vitamins
4. Continue to develop the Topic with your expositional or textual experience

REVIEW

As soon as you discover a flaw in the process, expand the process to incorporate the new way of thinking and avoiding the flaw in the future.
