Text Comparison and Interlinear usage

HI guys, I have two questions for the experts,

1) Does anyone know what happened to the button that was next to the visual filter? When I clicked on it, it opened a panel of the bottom of my screen with the proper definition of each word in the original language. All I had to do was hover over a particular word the chapter I was reading and instantly would highlight the same word in the bottom of the page giving me the definition of that particular word.

In my case, I hardly used the interlinear button which logos 7 had and Logos 8 has kept because it was too cumbersome to me since it opened the entire chapter with the interlinear. In my opinion, it was a repetition of what the bottom panel did except for the fact that it showed every word in the original language of that particular chapter at once. I personally didn't like and didn't use it. The other was more practical. It is gone?

2) My question two is how do I add or remove bible translations from my text comparison? Where is the how?

Thanks, guys, I appreciate the time you take to answer these questions,

Joseph

The inline interlinear and interlinear ribbon are now controlled from the same toggle button

Click on the arrow to the right of it (outlined in red below) and you can choose whether to show one or both of them. Then clicking the button (to the left of the arrow) will toggle according to your selection

    2) My question two is how do I add or remove bible translations from my text comparison? Where is the how?

Click the set of Bibles and you get a dropdown as below

    • To remove Bible deselect them from the Resources section
    • To add in new Bibles, find them using the Find box and then select them below.
    • Click outside of this menu to make your selections live

Personally have a Collection of 11 English Bibles for Text Comparison, which are enabled for Interlinear in New Testament:

Great idea. Is there any reason why the LEB is not in this collection?

My Bible Title modifications causes Text Comparison sort order to be chronological (LEB is a recent translation)

Sorry, I just missed it in your screen shot. I see it there now. By the way, I have completely adopted your system of identifying all my Bibles with a publication date which I have found to be very helpful. Thank you.
