DAILY BIBLE READING
Hello, my friends,
When I used Logos 7, I had my personal Bible reading plans with my chosen personal preferred translation. On the left hand side of my main page, I had my highlighting panel which was ready for me to use it to underline, etc. Nothing more.
In logos 8, my different reading plans have been replaced by cards which is not a big deal (I have 5 different reading place which covers the entire Bible one chapter at the time).
The issue I have is that when I click on the card, my personal layout is replaced with a note panel, with the reading plan I have chosen and on the right hand with the Faithlife commentary, all at the same time while my highlighting panel is gone. All of these are linked together. I have tried to unlink them but to no avail.
So every time I pick my next reading plan, the same layout takes place which by the way, is becoming very annoying.
All I want to have is my preferred Bible and my highlighting on the left side which by the way I have saved it as my personal layout.

Try configuring the layout as you want it and then customise the "Bible Reading Plan" "Home Page Layout" - accessible by clicking the Layouts icon at the top right of the workspace.
Select the option to "replace with current layout" and see if that gives you what you are looking for.
