Subject search for noun form
I am trying to do a search to find every place in the NASB (or anything really) where the Hebrew elohim is used for God (vs. gods, angels, etc). I have found instructions (for an old version of Logos) on how to do a subject search with a verb-lemma, but not with a noun. And I can't seem to figure it out. Logos 8 apparently no longer has a clause search? I see only Basic, Bible, and Morph. I also tried the Lexham Hebrew Bible but can't figure it out there.
Any quick help or link to instructions?

I would just use a Bible search for this with the Hebrew word INTERSECTing the word God
To ensure you don't get hits for "god" or "gods" you need to ensure that Match Case is set and you aren't matching all word forms

Strange - as you can see from my screenshots above there is still a Clause Search
What features did you have under Logos 7? What options did you choose for Logos 8?

What exactly does "INTERSECTS" do? The Wiki says it identifies parts of a text or item that overlaps or intersects another one. Is there a more full definition? In a search like this, does it show where a word is translated as a particular word? What would it do in other cases?
I have Logos Now which is Logos 8 I believe. In some places, the search function is different. In the picture below, the left hand box where you select the search only has Bible, Basic, and Morph. But I found in a regular search box there are more options. Not sure what the difference is.

Clause Search requires Bronze - it doesn't come with Starter packages/feature set.

I have Logos Now. I am not sure how to find out the last package I bought. I think I had Logos 5 Silver. I had something Logos 7 but I don't know what. How would I find out?

Inline search (what you get when you search in a resource panel) only supports Bible, Basic, and Morph search. The other search types must be done in the Search panel.

As Andrew explained the difference is between doing a regular search and an inline search

x INTERSECTS y for Text requires that some part of x is common to y; whether it is one word or several words.
The examples in the Search wiki illustrate more complex uses e.g. <Lemma = lbs/el/κύριος> INTERSECTS <Person Jesus>, asks if κύριος ("lord", "master") is part of <Person Jesus> at the lemma level. So it will only work in a translation with reverse interlinear, or in a Greek bible with morphology. Note that <Person Jesus> can cover several words e.g. "Lord Jesus", "Lord Jesus Christ", so the intersection occurs with the word "lord".

Here's an odd thing. I recreated the search above and got the same results but it took 160 seconds. I have a SSD on an i5 Windows 10 with 16 GB of RAM. I did a "NOT INTERSECTS" search of the same thing and it took 30 seconds. I did a Bible search for "God" and took 1.27 seconds but the analysis took 284 seconds.
Any idea why this is taking so long? With a SSD with over 50 GB free, it should be going much faster, shouldn't it?

You mean <Lemma = lbs/he/אֱלֹהִים> INTERSECTS God

Expand the "Analysis" section and change the listed view mode to "Grid", "Verses", or "Aligned". The analysis mode takes extra time to present the results for analysis. This is expected behavior.
