Is Logos Mobile Broken Beyond Repair
Neither my Android Phone nor my IPad will successfully run Logos. The phone pretty much gives up immediately. The IPaD teases me for a few minutes before it locks up in the midst of scrolling. Lately it fails to find Psalms that I know are there such as Psalm 40. The App seems to prefer Psalm 34.
I dearly love Logos on my Desktop and Laptop, but I absolutely have to have a Bible app that I can count on to at least find a verse in the Bible and show it to me. A bonus would be a Commentary in sync. Too much to ask for?

It's hard to know how to help... maybe you could share what version ipad you have or what phone? Maybe your phone / ipad memory is full? Maybe you have iPad v1?

Along with the request for more device and version details might we ask
about the bible you are searching and whether it is on line or downloaded?
about the internet connection you have when moving about the resource (WiFi - Mobile Data - None)?
There are problems with the app - on my beta installation iPhone xs the app will not relocate in a bible if I have Airplane Mode Switched on.
The version on my iPad is usually quite good.

I use ESV, NIV, NIV(84), BKC and ECB linked. No other resources downloaded.
Android phone is Galaxy S5 running 6.0.1 with 13.1 GM of 16 in use. Plenty available on the SD card, but of course, can't move Logos there.
IPad is IPad Mini2 running 12.1 (16B92) with 5.98 GB available of 16.
Everything was working well on both platforms up until the last month or so.
I called customer service and they opened a ticket a couple of weeks ago.
The problems exist if I have WiFi on or off.

While I don’t have those things going I will say that L8 mobile is rather disappointing to me. I like L8 on my MacBook Air 2017 but the mobile app is a huge disappointmen!

That is unfortunate because while my iPhone is playing up the iPad seems to be working ok
I hate to ask the obvious but have you deleted the app and reinstalled it as part of your troubleshooting efforts?

Thanks for asking Mike. Deleted and reinstalled a couple of times. Each reinstall I downloaded fewer and fewer resources. I have alternative apps to use until Logos 8 stabalizes. . .

I am sorry that you are having problems but these are unlikely to be related to John C's ones.
It would be better to either start a new thread with a title preceded by the word Bug and then a meaningful title.
Or to contact Faithlife direct by phone and speak to customer services guy.
Hopefully a faithlife tech will reply here to John's predicament.

Highlighting on both the iOS smartphone and tablet is incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes it'll register, sometimes it doesn't.
Implementation of the Chinese bibles is disappointing too, where it is nearly impossible to select individual words in the CUV.

The issue of highlighting on iOS is being discussed elsewhere on this forum – it is a problem that is common and one the has not been adequately addressed so far. You might like to join in on those threads.

This is a new issue and deserves a thead of its own. Please start one with a meaningful title and no doubt an expert will in the situation will chip in with some information.
You would not like this issue to be overlooked as we deal with John's (the original poster) problems.

I'm afraid I can't help further as my hardware is not comparable. It works for me, apart from highlighting... but my phone and tablet were both purchased last year.
