Topic guide on Colossians

Hi!

I'm a bit surprised that there are no entries from Atlas to Biblical things in the topic guide on Colossians...?

I think Colossae would be a winner for the Atlas and Biblical places category, and there are many people to place under Biblical people.

But, perhaps there is a good reason for this that I am unaware of?

The Atlas is tied primarily to Biblical Events. Since there are no Biblical Events, I am not surprised there are no Atlas results. Instead there should be Biblical Places ... the lack of results there puzzles me - but then I rarely use the topic Guide. The Passage Guide does show an entry for Atlas, some Biblical Events and some Biblical Places.

Yes, but under the topic for Colossae (no Events, but Atlas, Places, some People).

The outline of a bible book serves a different purpose.

You can identify all the people, places, and things mentioned in a biblical book by running the Passage Guide on a whole book reference (it may take a while, especially for long books).

You can see a similar list through Bible Browser by selecting Bible Books > New Testament > Colossians, and then browsing the categories for People, Places, Things, etc.

The Factbook page on Epistle to the Colossians includes events that are described (only one, in Col 4:7-9) or mentioned (the bulk of them) in the book. We have some additional information identifying the most important entities for the book as a whole (in this case, Tychicus and Epaphras, in addition to Paul as author and the church at Colossae as addressees), but that's not yet hooked up to the Factbook page.
