All our library in the iPad app?
Perhaps it is a bit early to discuss on the iPad app right now, but I'm wondering that since the iPad is tablet computing device and not a phone, does it follow that licensing restrictions do not apply and we could finally have all our library on the phone?

Oops I meant on the iPad, not the phone [:P]

As far as I know, the licensing will be the same for the iPad as the iPhone because of how the resources are delivered to the app.

Is it possible to get a clue as to what percentage of resources Logos anticipates being available to mobile devices in say 1 year?

I thought that it might be do-able: detect what kind of device and then allow the appropriate resources...
Oh well, I'll pinch myself, stop dreaming and go back to my work. [:(]

I'd appreciate it if you learn otherwise tell us before we plunk down our cash on an ipad. I'm going to by it primarily for Bible Study.

Anything that is available on the iPhone will definitely be available on the iPad.

After helping a couple of guys use Logos 4 on their Macbooks, I can promise that won't happen until Logos 4 is at least where it is on the PC side now. And even then unlikely. I can buy the same powered PC machine for far less than a Mac. And it works with all my software natively without having to buy another program to run Windows.

What makes you say that? I've seen nothing to make me think any cell phone will be different than the iPhone, the same license restrictions will apply to all of them, no matter what they run. So if there is ever a native Android app for Logos, the same books will be available as found on the iPhone. Currently there is no Android app, just the library.logos.com mobile site, and that site also only has access to the books available on the iPhone.

Now you are just getting into subjective territory. I find the Android OS somewhat clunky and unattractive but I love my iPhone. In terms of what they can do, the iPhone continues to please me.
