Are there any plans to make notebook selection permanent?

i‘m reading through Matthew’s Gospel and want to make a number of notes and place them into a notebook.

I tap the three dots icon and then “make a note”.

This opens the note editor with no notebook selected and I need to specify the notebook each time.

Could we have the option to either:

use the same notebook on successive opening of the note editor until explicitly clearing the selection?
have the note editor default to use the notebook currently selected in the Notes Tool?
