Mobile App Sync with Desktop
The new mobile app syncs the prayer lists with my desktop, but not the reading plans. Since my daily Bible reading is in a reading plan I unable to do that on on the mobile app. Thus the mobile app is essentially unless to me. Am I missing something?
My desktop version is :
Logos Bible Software 8.1
8.1.0.0016
The mobile app is running on an iPhone using version 12.1.2 of iOs.

Hi Robert - and welcome to the forums
Sorry to hear you are having problems.
Since my daily Bible reading is in a reading plan I unable to do that on on the mobile app. Thus the mobile app is essentially unless to me. Am I missing something?
Reading plans should sync but there have been cases of problems with this.
Is it that the reading plan doesn't appear on the homepage or that it doesn't show up in the list of reading plans on the device?

Sorry for the confusion. They do not appear on the home page at all. Neither do they show up in the list of reading plans which is blank

What happens if you “Sync your data”?
If that doesnt work I expect the Faithlife developers would need to see logs.
This is assuming it is a mobile issue. Do the reading plans appear at document.logos.com?

Nothing happens whem I sync the data. Where do I find document.logos.com? I attempted to connect at www.document.logos.com and get nada. There used to be link to it L7 but I can not find one in L8.

The answer to your question is https://documents.logos.com
It appears that you have changed your password (I know this because your post count has been reset). There is a chance that your change of passwords has caused this glitch.

1. The reading plans do appear at https://documents.logos.com .
2. I have not changed my password. But so what? I don't meed to know what might be causing the glitch. I need to get the mobile app working with my reading plans.

I need to get the mobile app working with my reading plans.
I understand that and we're trying to help work out what the problem is so it can be resolved
Can you try installing one of the other Faithlife mobile apps from the App Store - such as Verbum - and see if your plans appear there?
If so, it might be necessary to delete and reinstall the app you are using

I installed Verbum. The results are identical. BTW before I posted this, I did delete and reload the Logos mobile app twice. Anything else you wish me to try?

In which case I am out of ideas - sorry.
Unless you are using a different account on mobile and desktop I think we need someone from Faithlife to comment on this.

It does not relate. In fact I read that thread before I posted this.

are any of them active?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

All of them are. I use them daily on the desktop.

I have four reading plans of the "Generate a reading plan" variety. None of them appear in the mobile app.
Is your bible reading plan one of these four? I know this doesn't fix your problem, but I notice that the reading plan was modified after it began (it should have finished in mid December). Do you know if the reading plan worked when originally created? (in other words, did it work at one point and then stop working)?
Can you get a predefined bible reading plan to sync?

yes to all three. I expect that since by this point in time no one from Logos has chimed in, they are perfectly aware that the mobile app does not function with the reading plans. The mobile app has not worked properly in that regard since L6. L7 only worked with simple reading plans. In L8 even those no longer work. So obviously the mobile app is not a high priority for them. BTW this would be what I mean by a simple reading plan:
And this is a non-simple reading plan:

I'm not sure that's the case.
You started this thread on 24 December and the relevant people may have been away and not be back yet - I have no idea whether that is so but it is possible!

I don't see it as a general problem.
I don't have the specific resources or reading plan definitions you have but I have just set up a couple of plans that seem similar
and they immediately appeared on my iPad
So I think there's something we haven't got to the bottom of yet.
EDIT: I am running the beta version of 8.2 on the desktop but I'd be very surprised if that's all at relevant!

And what version of the Logos app are you using?
I assume 8.0.8 as you mention you have reinstalled it but I wanted to be sure.
And can you post a screenshot of the app homepage on your iPhone?

The Logos app on my desktop is 8.1.0.0016. The iPhone app is the most recent posted in the App Store. I have no idea how to screenshot an iPhone.

Press and hold the power button on the right - then tap the home button

Some of the MVP's cringe when I say this, but the forums aren't a primary means of communication for FL. The forums are primarily a means of crowdsourced help. FL may chime in, but I agree with him that the holidays certainly don't help in terms of getting an "official" response.
yes to all three.
Probably my last suggestion... running out of them! I would try to recreate the reading plan. Since it worked originally when you created it and doesn't work now, my guess is that somehow it has become corrupted... or that there is a specific bug related to the "adjust plan from here" feature.

The reading plan works fine on the desktop but not the iPhone.
