Reset Reading Plans
I have quarterly discipleship materials that require Bible readings each day. I created 4 different reading plans (one for each quarter) with the readings. I went through them and checked each day off as I read.
Now, I want to take a different group through the material, and want to restart my reading plan. I can edit the start date, but it lists as all readings completed.
How can I restart the reading plan without re-entering the entire thing as completely new documents (or by "unchecking" each day of the year)? Or in other words, how can you reuse a reading plan?

Start the Plan after the last date completed, then start it when you require.

I've tried this. Logos changes all the dates in the reading plan, but leaves each day marked completed (with the green check mark). So, the software thinks I have completed all the readings and does not even show a card for the plan on the home page.

A screen shot of your Plan would help.

Here is a screen shot when I pull up the reading plan. I set a new start date of Jan 7 (Thursday). All the dates update from there, but all the readings remain "checked". I can set the start date to whatever I want and the dates for each reading will populate properly, but it will always remain "completed" and I can never get it started again.

I am not in a position to really trouble shoot this for you, but I did try to replicate your conditions as much as possible. I created a 365 day plan and set the start date of Jan 1 2018 (last year). I went to Dec 31 and used the "catch up to here" feature. At that point, I believe my reading plan would have been similar to your situation. All readings were completed.
I went in to edit the plan and marked the first reading as unread. I then used the right click "adjust plan from here" on reading 2. When I changed the first reading to January 1, 2019, all readings were marked as unread.
The key may simply be "adjust plan from here."

Thank you for the attempt. I tried these steps and it looks like it took the unread reading and put it at the end of the list. Everything else is still marked as read and none of the dates updated. One difference is that mine is a Custom Plan and not a predefined plan from Logos.

You may have to check them one-by-one. [:s]

Thank goodness we DONT have to un-check them one by one.
I went in and changed the start date to the current year, made sure I had checked all the readings for the prior year reading, then went into my phone app, opened the reading plan, and it had a restart button . WA-LA!!!
Restart worked fine!

- Change the start to current date
- Duplicate the reading plan
- Delete the original reading plan
- Rename the duplicate
- Use the renamed duplicate with all the unchecked Bible passages
