Logos 8 Needs to Print ALL NOTES - by topic, notebook, etc...for backup, handouts, etc.
Logos 8 at current can only print ONE note.
It needs the ability to print ALL notes, by Filter, Book, Range, etc. including all note cross-references (anchors) that are attached within those notes. By cross-references, I mean the scripture reference, not the entire scripture itself.
I created a feature item request for the above if you want to vote for it.

This isn't the case.
If you select a number of notes (using Ctrl-clcik / shift-click) and then select "Print / Export" you can print all selected notes at the same time

It doesn't currently print anchors and I agree that printing the reference would be helpful.

While that might be nice for simple notes. I have hundreds of notes in different notebooks. I can't go through and shift-click on each and every one.
There should be the option to print an entire range or book using the filters.
I also work in the computer industry and accidents happen, no matter how hard one tries to plan, having a backup in the case of a disaster is important and this is also a good reason for the ability to do a print/export all.

The notebooks are irrelevant. You can choose "all," click on the FIRST note, scroll to the LAST note, Shift Click and print. NOTE: You don't have to "shift-click on each and every one."

True - but we cannot currently select more than 100 notes at a time

This is a bit troubling. I remember a thread where it was specifically asked if we would be able to print all notes and we were told yes. If needs be, I will put up that thread. When programs might not be around forever, if one has thousands of notes in Logos and cannot easily convert those notes altogether into a file, then it means the possibility exists that our notes might be lost or only available in the Logos program/format.
I would like a guarrantee that the plan is to make it very easy to quickly save all notes at the same time in one file.

For clarification: Do you mean "can't, to print"? I have selected more than 100 notes "to move."

My understanding was that is was a general limit - I haven’t tested it
Phil spoke about a limit of 50 during early testing - https://faithlife.com/posts/1523391
Then there is a statement about a limit of 100 at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/173735/1004834.aspx#1004834 - but I’m not sure what Ryan was quoting from there.
If there is no longer a limit, that would be good to know

You can select as many as you want TOTAL, but you have to select in GROUPS...click on the first one, scroll down a few dozen, hold shift and click, scroll down a few dozen, hold shift again and click, etc.
The actual number you can select at once seems to vary. When I first got on Logos 8, I moved all my highlights to "no notebook." Sometimes I was able to select over a hundred in a single group, sometimes it would fail and I would have to start selecting all over again.
I remember someone from FL saying that it has something to do with the list being loaded in real time, or something like that.
EDIT: The 50 and 100 numbers were probably put out there because it's confusing to explain to someone what I just did in the first paragraph.

Yes, that was my experience. I had assumed part of that was due to the age of my laptop. Perhaps not?

No, unless my 2016 Quad-Core MacBook Pro is already old!

I was thrilled when I first came across Logos. It was a powerful tool that allowed me to do detailed research and keep notes that linked all the different documents, not just the Bible.
Then I learned that their Android app did not even search on the notes. Couldn't even create bookmarks for things as simple as the "Four Spiritual Laws." Ahhhhggg NO! I can't tell you how many times I have found myself in a discussion about a topic and I know I have notes on it, but can't find them, because all I had was my tablet. This happened to me just this last weekend. A simple discussion and I had lots of notes on it, but couldn't share because I had Logos 7.
When Logos 8 came out I liked what I had read about the notes. But just couldn't find any explicit mention that the notes where searchable on Android devices. When I finally found it. I upgraded to Logos 8.
That's great! Love It! Now I can search my notes and share scriptures. Find my tag, share the notes and scriptures in LIVE action! Wow!
Okay. Now I need to create printouts of scriptures from my notes. As well as create backups.
Well, it was easy enough to find the notes using the filters, but the printing/backup functionality not so much.
Okay. I can shift-click on notes and create smaller printouts and category backups. But I have over 700 notes and the Last Modified filter only goes to the Last 30 days. Trying to keep up with updated notes this way is dangerous using that method.
That is why having an export feature (even a printout) on entire notebooks or subjects is needed. I don't care if it is exported as a spreadsheet. As long as it enables me to keep OFFLINE backups up to date.

Let me share with you a MIRACLE why I am so adamant about the above.
About two years ago I had my computer crash on me. I had to reformat the drive. But, no worries I had it all backed up. Until I tried to restore that backup and learned that the backup drive itself was corrupted. There was no evidence when doing the backups that there was a problem until I tried to restore it. I am a computer specialist and I know how to fix these things. I tried everything I knew for hours and the best I could do was recover 10% of what was on the backup.
I had lost everything. All of my research, my books, my messages, my powerpoint presentations, images, financials... More than 30 Years of research - GONE!
It was late at night, but I finally gave up and went to bed.
In the morning, God woke me up and said; "Place your hands on the sides of the backup drive and say: 'In the name of Jesus. What was lost is recovered.' "
I said it and began the same restore process I had done dozens of times the night before. ONLY, this time I recovered 50% of what was on the backup drive. I went to see what was recovered and everything of importance was restored to the system. All the above information and 30 years or research God had miraculously restored.
After that experience, I now use triple redundancy. I have Office 365, which backs up everything on the computer. A second computer is a mirror image of this one using Office 365 and all my devices, phones and tablets are cross-linked so I can access any information on any device.
So, when I say I want to a backup of my Logos notes, now you know why.

God bless and have a wonderful day.

You are aware that Logos automatically retains a backup in the cloud?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Absolutely! They better or we are all in grave danger. It is the lack of accessibility to that data that I don't like.
For example. It has happened more than once that a company has gone offline for extended periods of time. And with the hacking and online attacks that occur today, it will happen again. Access to one's information during that time can be critical to one's livelihood in many different ways. I have worked as a Project Manager whose job is to evaluate risks and develop solutions to address and avoid those risks. Logos is managing the PERSONAL information you created. In this situation, Logos is NOT addressing the ability to provide you access to your information when you want it.
