Reading plans not working
My wife and I have both had to find other apps for our daily reading. We cannot get the reading plan to work anymore. There is no indication when you have come to the end of the reading. There is no way to move to the next reading in the MCheyne reading plan. I have tried deleting the app and restoring it. We have been using the reading plan for years and loved using it, but it is unusable for us now.

I have had similar problems with reading plans in the last year and share your frustration. Sometimes deleting the resource on my iPad, then closing the app, restarting the app and then redownloading the resource fixes it for me. Other times it doesn’t fix it. When this happens I have deleted the reading plan on the desktop and created a new reading plan on the desktop that mirrors the plan I deleted. More often than not this gets the plan working for me again. I have noticed that most of my reading plan problems happen after a mobile app update or if the resource tied to the plan is updated by Logos.

I just started a new reading plan, my first one with the new Logos 8 version of the app. I am using Android 7.
The reading app shows up on the home screen. touching it does open to the reading.
However, there are no markers at the beginning or ending of the reading, and no way to mark it read. I had to use the online faithlife bible to mark it read for today.

I can reproduce this problem using version 8.0.8 of the app
Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

If that is the case, something is wrong... but it works fine for me. Have you made sure that the reading plan visual filter is turned on for your resource? If not, you will see the results you describe.
I have tried deleting the app and restoring it.
This will not fix the problem. The setting will simply sync from the server and be turned off again.

I can reproduce this problem
Do you think this is specific to the reading plan?
I don't think so.
Note that Mike is reporting the problem on Android.
I can see the reading plan markers on iOS but not on Android for the same plan.

Went to web app, and turned on the reading plans filter, then it worked.
Should there be a setting in the mobile app for this?

I'm having similar issues this evening - I went through and produced a One Year Chronological Bible Reading Plan patterned after the Tyndale plan. It's available on desktop and works beautifully - it shows up in my mobile app as existing under reading plans. When I click on the plan, the list of 'preset' reading plans opens up and it is not among those listed.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks,

There already is! Click on the "kebob" menu (three dots in a row), then "view settings." Scroll down and make sure reading plans is turned on.

Do you mean by this that you can see your "already created" plan under the pancake menu / reading plans?

For clarification: Was this a predesigned plan by FL, or did you create it via a custom plan?

Yes - under the pancake menu, I can see the "One Year Chronlogical Bible Reading Plan" that I created on my desktop. When I select it however, it doesn't open that plan and the reading schedule, it just takes me to the list of existing "preset reading plans" that Logos provides.
It is a custom plan that I created. It shows up in my 'Documents' online - but not the readings to complete, only the readings that have been completed.0 -

Have they (Faithlife) enabled Custom Reading Plans on the mobile apps yet. Last I remember they were not yet provided for.

We can't create them on mobile devices but we should be able to use one that are created on the desktop
