Make ESV refer to just the Bible, not including ESV Audio and ESVSB
In doing a Morph search, you can ask for other resources to be listed in addition to the one being searched. I have been able (occasionally) to get just the ESV bible to be listed, but if I save the workspace and relaunch it, ESV is interpreted as all the resources containing ESV in their short title, making two extra columns. I've tried creating a collection with just the ESV bible, but that didn't work. I don't mind hiding the audio resource, but I would like to be able to access the ESVSB.
Thanks,

Have you tried creating a Collection with just the ESV Bible, and then picking that Collection in the Morph search?

I have, and it failed. I tried indicating that in the initial post. [:)]

Hi Skip - and welcome to the forums
I've tried to replicate what you describe but I don't see where you get the additional options.
Are you able to post some screenshots (use the paperclip icon in the forum editor) to illustrate what you mean?

Hi Graham,
I probably showed you the parts you knew about. In the picture, you can select one of three options for the results of the search: verses, aligned, and analysis. That needs to be set to verses. When you do that, you will get a link that says Add versions. That's where adding ESV causes me pain. In the actual search, specifying the whole bible adds hits in the Apochrypha, which I didn't care about. My Greek Bible is a Collection of NA28 and Lexham LXX.

Hi Skip
When you add ESV in the "Add Versions" what options do you get in the dropdown?
I get the options shown below - which don't give me the ability to include the ESV Audio or Study Bible resources
The "BHS, LXX, ESV" option is the name of a collection I have created and if I choose that I get all the resources contained within it.
I'm wondering if you are seeing something similar - though note you tried it with a collection just containing the ESV

Adding ESV in the "Add Versions" area won't change the scope of the search.
The search is conducted against the resource(s) in the search box - in your case NA28 and Lexham LXX (and it is the latter of those which will give you hits from the Apocrypha) - while adding in extra versions simply shows the results of the searches in those versions.

Graham,
I think I found the problem. My dropdown includes an entry for ESV Bible and a Collection named ESV, which is where I think the difficulty lies. (I don't remember creating the collection, perhaps Logos did.) Here's what it looked like before,
After changing the collection named ESV to MyESV I think the problem is fixed. Thank you very much!

That had the potential of causing confusion!
