Bug: Getting the library to refresh itself is hit or miss.
I have varied results with the library being refreshed.
- Sometimes, after waiting about a minute, the library displays a progress bar, indicating that it is updating itself, and the new resources appear after the operation is complete.
- Sometimes, no update happens.
There doesn't seem to be any UI-friendly (e.g. pull-to-refresh) way to refresh the library. I vaguely recall some command that can be typed into the "go" box, but would have to search the forum for that information.
My "workaround" involves force-quitting the app, then opening it again, to get the library to update itself (so I can read a new book).
Ideally, it would be great if the app could refresh itself in the background, so when you open it, the new content is immediately available.
Can this experience be improved (instead of having to wait and see whether the library will eventually update itself or not)?
Thank you!

As per my comment in your other thread type "rebuild index" into that box.

I don't think the mobile apps do have an index.
My experience throughout the years has been that the library updates no more than once per session.
To force a library update, therefore, the only method I'm aware of is to exit and restart the app.

They do have an index but not in the same sense as the desktop app - hence the "rebuild index" command can sometimes cause new resources to be displayed in the library.
