Bug: Library recent option doesn't show every new resource
I purchased a collection yesterday, but couldn't easily find (all of) them when I went to open one of the books in a new tab. (The only reason that "Walk Genesis!" appears is because I had previously opened that resource on the desktop.)
Here, the library is only displaying some of the recent (new) resources. (If I keep scrolling, I see older purchases, but not the rest of the recently purchased collection.)
However if I search for the author, all of the collection's books do appear in the results:
Is there a reason why those specific new purchases aren't generally showing up on the Recent list?

Sometimes the index needs to be rebuilt.
To force this, go to the homepage and type "rebuild index" into the search box at the top

Thanks for your help, Graham.
I tried rebuild index in the Home page search box (on both an iPhone and iPad), and waited for over an hour. It didn't appear to make any difference.
It turns out that the four remaining "Walk" books do appear in the library in an unexpected location. Even though the library is supposed to be sorted by "Recent," if you keep scrolling many many many pages, you get to a point where the books switch to alphabetical order. Continuing to scroll to practically the end of the library, I found the other four within the W's.
Continuing to scroll a bit more gets to the absolute end of the library, in the Zs.
I don't know why the initial part of the library is sorted by "Recent," but the rest of the library isn't sorted the same way. It really appears to be a bug that those four particular new purchases aren't considered recent, and don't show up at the top with the other the recently purchased (and opened) books.

I had the same problem yesterday. I purchased three books but only one of them appeared at the top of the library. I switched from recent to author and then back again but it made no difference.
This occurred on both Android and iPad.

Has the Mobile App team seen this, and opened a case for this issue?

This is, sadly, the normal behaviour, and has been so for... I can't remember.

Sort by "recent" on mobile has always appeared to me to be a hodge podge sorting view. It is NOT the same as the desktop "last updated," which is what you are assuming it is. Rather, it shows some new purchases alongside of some recently used resources. It has been this way as long as I can remember. [:s]

I'm sorry this is broken for you.
I have some news that I hope encourages you and others who have some frustrations with the mobile library.
We're working on what will be a significant update and set of improvements to the Library on iOS and Android.
Think:
- Improved filtering (bringing desktop-like filtering to mobile)
- Bulk management of resources, such as downloading, adding to collections, ect
- New stuff you didn't even know you wanted... but you'll love anyway
If you're interested in getting a first look at these changes, please consider joining one of our betas on iOS or Android. We may also share a few early specs with those that are interested-- I'll probably put out a call for volunteers in the next few weeks.
I'll make sure we take a look at your particular issue... but I also wanted you to know that the Library is a big focus area for us and we're going to be investing a lot to make it better for you.

Thanks for the reply, and for the improvements that the team will be making.
