Hi,

I posted earlier today about a problem I had with Morph searches using the ESV as an additional resource. I have an additional problem with hits that are found in the book of Esther: they aren't found in the ESV and at least the NIV84. I think I tested other translations as well, but I know they aren't found in those two.

So the search I used was for ἀδικέω, and there were two hits in Esther (1:16 and 4:1). Screenshot follows:

Any ideas?

Thanks, Skip

The Greek Esther is often translated as if it were a separate book from the Hebrew Esther. There are several additions with different versifications so it's hard to give you a quick key to identifying them. Look at Esther/Greek Esther in the NRSV to understand the differences.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
