Problem with Bible Reading Plan and other layouts
I set up two Bible reading plans and wanted to use different Bibles for each. But when I change the Bible in one plan -- it changes in the other.
Also, Any other thing I try to do -- such as the command "go to topic on Baptism" shows my reading plan rather than information on the topic.
Did I make some sort of universal thing on my Bible Reading Plan that makes it show up in every layout?
I really need help! I especially updated to Logos 8 for some of the advertised new features, and am watching all the Logos 7/8 bridge videos, but can't find the help I need.
I live overseas so cannot attend a Logos Boot Camp.

When you say "change the Bible in one plan" what exactly do you mean?
Also, have you changed the default layout of the Home Page Layouts -> Bible Reading Plan? Do you see the word "custom" where outlined below?

Try the command "go to topic guide on baptism" and select the Guide you want from the dropdown

Hi, when I say change the Bible in one plan, I mean the following:
I set up one Bible Reading Plan for a one-year Chronological plan reading through the Bible in a year. I wanted to use the NLT translation for that plan.
I had a separate plan to read through the New Testament in a year, and wanted to use ESV in that plan.
But they seem to be syncing to the same Bible version and layout.
Now I went to home page, and entered "go to topic guide on baptism". You can see the screen shot that was my result.

Ok - so I think you have set up two separate plans with different Bibles - it is not that you are changing the Bible in a plan once it has been set up.
Please check my question above about customising the Reading Plan Layout. If you have, it would explain what you are seeing.

I can't find home page layouts or any screen that looks like yours. Are you using Logos 8?

The screen is opened from the Layouts icon - outlined below

Yes I am.

Instead of “go to topic guide” you need “Open topic guide”

I tried that and I am getting some topics now. But it still puts my Bible Reading schedule on right hand box, and a Logos help box in top right box.
How do I get rid of these things, and get normal topic guide layout?
I'm so sorry for all the questions, but I am stumped!

Do you see “custom” next to “Topic Study” in the Homepage Layouts section?
