Excellent work, Rick...glad you figured it out.
It's a good idea, when dealing with a bug, to close out the layout (top right corner of Logos) and see what happens with a fresh, minimal layout.
FYI - Resolved Issue with Copy and Paste in a Note

I upgraded to Logos 8 the middle of December and I was not able to Copy and Paste within notes.
After some research it appears to have been caused by a corrupt 'Layout'. I had a 'Layout' with about 30 different tabs which I recreated a week ago and Copy and Paste has been working since then.
