Recommending Logo's Packages to other? Bulk Pricing?
Hello All: I have three questions.
In the last week, I have had three ladies purchase Logos 8 as a result of recommending it to them. I would like to recommend it to my entire class (it's a rather large group), but I know that there are different financial situations for them all.
First question is: I know that at my church, many of the Pastors use Logos Bible Software but I'm hoping to not have to jump through church administration with purchases simply because it is a rather large church and I don't want to add another person in the middle of it all. So, do you know if Logos does bulk pricing, where say, if a group purchased it they would get a special price?
Secondly, does Logos still have that $99 offer? If so, where is it found?
Thirdly, what package would you recommend to those starting out that includes enough resources for exciting, inductive type of Bible study that would get them jazzed about using the program, without breaking the bank?

Hey Cynthia! If you are able, I would love for you to report back on how this works out for you and your group. Several pastors at my church have recently upgraded and they have blessed me with the ability to send their Fundamental gift-codes to several church members interested in Logos. This has begun to get some other members interested in the software. I'd love to know how this pans out for your group as I am looking out to see if this is something I may want to pursue as well!
The fundamentals BP has been a great introduction towards these members getting their feet wet. Although the promotion is over, the recent one where there was $100 off any library purchase made L8 Starter $150 was super that one of my interns was able to take advantage of. That is gone, but worth mentioning.

I certainly will. I haven't heard from anybody at FL yet, so we will see how this could all work out. The ladies I recommended Logos too are really liking it, and that excites me and gives me a taste of what others may think.

I thought it was less of a smart move when I saw that Logos gave those away as "hand it to a friend" for the L8 buyers in 2018 (why would they get some new users accustomed to the L7 way of things when L8 is around?). But obviously there are reasons behind it - not giving L8 away too cheap too early? Still have an incentive for those new users to buy L8?
Anyway, all those L7 packages will allow to take advange of the free L8 engine which is only some weeks away. Currently we don't know whether there will be a comparable L8 fundamendals package for the same price, or whether they aim higher or it takes longer to be available or what, therefore it's still a good offer. I would recommend when teaching people to use it, skip the homepage and possibly even start with New Notes already, if the beta is still openly available.
EDIT: maybe there's a chance to get a L8 sneak preview licence or such, if you buy a larger number of bundles.

NB: We'll see. But, since I am only recommending it now because it's much more user friendly to newbies, it would have to be L8 for sure.
